Three-time Grand Slam finalist and world No. 3 German tennis player Alexander Zverev has announced his readiness to win the 2025 US Open. Today, August 29, he defeated Briton Jacob Fearnley in the second round with a score of 6:4, 6:4, 6:4. “There are no easy matches here. The level of tennis is growing, and everyone is playing great right now. I’m here to spoil everyone’s party. And that’s exactly what I plan to do,” the US Open website quotes Zverev as saying.

Zverev will compete with Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime for a spot in the 1/8 finals of the 2025 US Open. The current champion of the tournament is Italian Jannik Sinner.
