Contract with the Euroleague record holder

The Turkish basketball club from Istanbul “Fenerbahce” has signed a new contract with one of the team’s main stars, Nigel Hayes-Davies, for a period of three years, the team’s press service reports.

Despite interest and offers from NBA teams, Fenerbahçe was able to agree with Nigel on the terms of a new long-term contract.

Earlier in the season, Hayes-Davies scored 50 points against Alba. This result was a record in the history of the Euroleague. Nigel finished ahead of Shane Larkin in first place with 49 points.

“Before the game, I texted my friends that I felt and read the game in the style of Dejounte Murray. Of course, I didn’t know that I would score 50 points, but I was sure that I would shoot a lot,” the forward commented on the record.
