Cooper Flagg is the No. 1 pick in the 2025 National Basketball Association (NBA) draft, according to the analytical portal NBADraft.net. Moreover, Flagg trained with the US national basketball team before the 2024 Olympics, and Cooper will spend the next NCAA season with Duke.

A video appeared on social networks of Flagg addressing another young basketball player, VJ Edgecomb, who is a top-5 pick in the upcoming draft, during one of the games. “You’re not who you say you are,” Cooper said during one of the game episodes.

Flagg, who American analysts often compare to Russian basketball player Andrei Kirilenko, plays as a power forward. The American is currently 17 years old. It should be noted that Yegor Demin, who will also take part in the upcoming NCAA season, will take part in the 2025 draft.
