The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced that it had reduced the disqualification period of French midfielder Paul Pogba. This decision was made on the basis that the footballer proved that his use of a prohibited substance was unintentional.

So, instead of 4 years of disqualification, Pogba will miss only 18 months (a year and a half). The Frenchman's disqualification starts on September 11, 2023.
