The last days of Janis Timma's life
Famous Latvian basketball player, former player of Zenit, Khimki and UNICS, Janis Timma was found dead in Moscow. Moskovsky Komsomolets reported details of the last days of the athlete's life.
The source reports that Janis Timma received two tourist visas to Russia: the first - from October 25 to December 1, and the second - from December 2 to January 22. He needed to visit Russia to resolve bureaucratic issues related to the divorce.
At first, Timma planned to stay in other hotels: in Moscow - in Izmailovo, and in St. Petersburg - in Oktyabrskaya. However, after the divorce, he changed his plans and on December 14 checked into the Apelsin Hotel on Sergei Makeyev Street, which is actually a hostel in an old five-story building. Timma paid for his stay until December 16.
It is also reported that the young man's body was found on the landing between the first and second floors by residents of the building.
