Playing time at Real Madrid

January 17, 20251 min. to read

Real Madrid's Brazilian striker Hendrick spoke about his playing time at Los Blancos this season.

"I didn't expect to play more minutes... Ancelotti knows what he's doing. He does what's best not for me, but for the team. If the team needs Kylian (Mbappe), Vini (Vinicius Junior) or Rodrygo, they'll be in the squad. If it's Arda Guler, he'll be there. If it's me, I'll be there," journalist Fabrizio Romano quotes Hendrick as saying on his page on the X social network (formerly Twitter).

18-year-old Hendrick has been playing for Real Madrid since July 2024. This season, he has made 17 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring four goals and making one assist. In total, the player has spent 291 minutes on the field.
