Ex-NBA Player's Pregnant Wife Killed by Shark

In Puerto Rico, a shark attacked the wife of famous basketball player Danilo Gallinari, El Vocero reports, citing local police spokesman Ruben Moyeno. It is noted that Eleonora Boi is pregnant.

The predator bit the 39-year-old woman on the thigh, the report says. After first aid was provided, the victim was transported to the hospital. Law enforcement officials reported that her condition is not alarming and her life is not in danger.

Currently, the municipality's marine police officers and rescuers are jointly patrolling the coastline.
