IBF and WBO middleweight world champion (up to 72.6 kg) Kazakhstani Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12 KO) announced that he plans to hold his next fight in November.

“I’m flying to the USA. I’ll be ready for the fight in November! [Carlos] Adames has only a few options. If he doesn’t agree, I’ll defend my titles against other boxers! So a message for him and his managers – your time is running out!” Alimkhanuly wrote on the X social network (formerly Twitter).

Zhanibek Alimkhanuly is 32 years old. The Kazakhstani debuted as a professional in 2016, became world champion in 2022, and unified champion in October 2023.
