Lakers' contract amount

North American journalist and insider for The Athletic Jovan Buha commented on the contract situation of shooting guard Austin Reaves with the Los Angeles Lakers.

“The NBA is already predicting that this summer he will receive a contract worth over $30 million - whether it will be with the Lakers or another team. I am sure that it will be the Lakers. He dreams of spending his entire career with this club,” Buha said on the Spectrum SportsNet TV channel.

The 27-year-old Reaves began his NBA career in 2021, signing a two-way contract with the Lakers. Despite not being selected in the draft, he turned down an offer from the Detroit Pistons to select him at number 42 and chose to sign an agreement with Los Angeles.
