Recovery from thrombosis

The star of the National Basketball Association (NBA) team San Antonio Spurs, Frenchman Victor Wembanyama, has started full training, according to columnist Mark Stein.

“Wemby has not played in competitive form since February, when his second season in San Antonio was suddenly cut short by a blood clot. However, I am informed that he recently played full games in Los Angeles and looked brilliant,” Stein wrote on his blog.

Recall that due to thrombosis, the 21-year-old Frenchman was forced to prematurely end the 2024/2025 season. In total, last season the NBA center took part in 46 games, in which he averaged 24.3 points, 11 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
