La Liga President Javier Tebas has spoken about his desire to introduce the possibility for the head coach of a team to request a video review without a referee's decision in the Spanish championship.

"I would like to raise the issue of VAR work in general. I like the system that FIFA is testing, within the framework of which each head coach has the opportunity to request a review twice per match, without waiting for the referees' decision on VAR. I am sure that such a practice will help to avoid many disagreements. We could try this system at the highest level in the Spanish Primera," Sport.es quotes Tebas as saying.

Recall that the president of La Liga has repeatedly criticized the current rules for VAR work, emphasizing that disputes over refereeing decisions harm the sporting aspect of the competition.
