A club legend returns to Bayern - he won 25 trophies with Munich

Jerome Boateng returns to Bayern.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the Munich club and the 35-year-old defender have reached the final stage.

Boateng has already agreed to the transfer, he wants to return to Bayern. The deal will be closed in the next day or two.

Sky Sport Deutschland reports that Jerome has already passed the first part of his medical examination.

It is not yet known how long the contract will last - until January or until the end of the season. Boateng, who played in the legends match for Bayern in the summer, is expected to take part in today's training session for Thomas Tuchel's side.

The player played for the Munich club from 2011 to 2021 and won 25 trophies with them. He then spent two seasons in Lyon, after leaving which in July 2023 he is a free agent.
