The New York Knicks may make an offer to the Dallas Mavericks for 24-year-old point guard Luka Doncic. Journalist Eddie Presti reported this on his social networks with reference to insider Ian Begley.
It is reported that the proposal may follow if Dallas performs unsuccessfully in the playoffs and Doncic becomes disappointed with the team. According to the source, the Knicks could make a generous offer of seven first-round draft picks and three players.
This season of the National Basketball Association, Doncic has played in 45 regular season games, in which he averaged 34.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 9.4 assists. The Mavericks currently sit in eighth place in the league standings in the East.
